Women’s Golf Takes Second at Terrier Intercollegiate

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Ella Ofstedahl fired an even-par 72, and the Georgia Southern women's golf team shot the second-lowest score of the day to place second at the Terrier Intercollegiate Tuesday at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

The Eagles (+24) shot a season-low 295 and finished eight strokes behind tournament champion High Point (+16).

Natalie Petersen (E) shot a 73 today and tied for second, two strokes behind medalist Cayla Smith (-2) of High Point. It was Petersen's second consecutive top-20 finish.

Sarah Noonan (+7) shot 75 today and tied for seventh, and Ansley Bowman (+8) posted a 75 to tie for 12th.
