Women’s Golf Takes Second at CSU Fall Invitational

MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – Ansley Bowman fired a school record 69 in the second round, and Yeji Shin shot a 70 in the third to lead the Georgia Southern women's golf team to a second-place finish in the CSU Fall Invitational Tuesday at Rivertowne Country Club.

The tournament came down to the wire, and the counters from College of Charleston (+5) all parred their last two holes of the day to claim a two-stroke victory over the Eagles.

Yeji Shin (-1) and Iben Hvass each tied for third, two strokes behind medalist Laura Fuenfstueck of College of Charleston.
