Women’s Golf Slips to Fourth at Sun Belt Championship

SANDESTIN, Fla. – Julianna Collett, Ansley Bowman and Ella Ofstedahl combined to shoot 1-over-par on the back nine, but the Georgia Southern women's golf team fell to fourth in the second round of the Sun Belt Championship Monday at Raven Golf Club.

The Eagles are four shots behind third-place UTA and 11 behind Troy. Coastal Carolina has a commanding 23-stroke lead over the second-place Trojans heading into tomorrow's final round.

Collett is tied for eighth, and Bowman is tied for 13th on the individual leaderboard. Ofstedahl led the Eagles with a 76 today, and Bowman shot a 78.
