GREENVILLE, S.C. – Ansley Bowman shot 76, and the Georgia Southern women's golf team is in 16th after the first day of competition at the Lady Paladin Intercollegiate Friday at Furman University Golf Course.
Natalie Petersen carded a 77, and Ella Ofstedahl shot a 78. Ashlynn Joyner shot an 81, and Sarah Noonan posted an 83.
Daytona State (-4) was the only team under par today and leads the field after posting a 284, and Virginia Tech (E) is second. Furman (+5), Middle Tennessee (+7) and ETSU (+10) round out the top-5.
