Women’s Golf Punches Ticket to First NCAA Women’s Golf Championships

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Georgia Southern women's golf advances to its first NCAA Women's Golf Championships after finishing tied for second at the NCAA Lexington Regional on Wednesday at Keene Trace Golf Club.

Georgia Southern shot 288-283-283 (-10) in its second appearance in an NCAA regional. The Eagles pair of 283 rounds ties its second best of the season. The 854 54-hole total is the second lowest of the season and second best in program history.

Louise Reau (70-70-72) led Georgia Southern in the tournament shooting par or better in each round. Reau got off to a strong start in the first two rounds before carding an even par in round three.
