Women’s Golf Moves into Second at Terrier Intercollegiate

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Iben Hvass shot a 72, and Ansley Bowman carded a 73 to lead the Georgia Southern women's golf team into second place in the first round of the Terrier Intercollegiate Monday at the Country Club of Spartanburg.

The Eagles (+12) are four strokes behind Western Carolina (+8) and three strokes ahead of Appalachian State in third. Hvass (E) is in second in the individual standings, two strokes behind leader Natalia Villavicencio of Western Carolina, and Bowman is third.

Ella Ofstedahl (+4) is tied for 12th after shooting a 76.
