DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A four-hour lighting delay and three days of nearly-constant rain left the LPGA International Hills Course unplayable Tuesday, and the Georgia Southern women's golf team wound up third at the Sun Belt Championship.
The Eagles shot their lowest round of the season with a 292 Sunday and were in third place after the first 18 holes. Georgia Southern maintained that position yesterday before today's round was washed out.
Coastal Carolina (-14) shot 10-under Monday, the only team to shoot under par, and moved ahead of Texas State (-6) to win the team title.
