Women’s Golf 11th after First Round of Lady Paladin Invite

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Emma Bell shot a career-best 75 to lead the Georgia Southern women's golf team Monday in the first round of the Lady Paladin Invitational at Furman University Golf Club.

The Eagles are in 11th place, four shots back of Old Dominion in 10th and 11 strokes behind Kansas in fifth. Wake Forest leads the field, followed by Furman, North Florida and South Florida.

Bell played her last 11 holes 1-over with a birde at the par-4, 355-yard 12th. Savanah Satterfield started her round with five straight pars and played her last six holes even with a birdie on the par-4, 469-yard 13th on her way to a 76.
