STATESBORO - Georgia Southern Head Women's Basketball Coach Anita Howard announced today the addition of Warren Goosby as the new Director of Basketball Operations to her staff for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
Goosby returns to Southeast Georgia following a year hiatus from coaching at the collegiate level. He is the former Head Women's Basketball Coach at East Georgia State College in Swainsboro, Ga. While in Swainsboro, Goosby doubled their conference wins, led the Bobcats to a Final Four appearance and was named the Co-Coach of the Year.
A Double Eagle, Goosby received both his Bachelor's Degree in English with a double minor in Exercise Science (emphasis in Coaching) and Africana Studies, and his Master's in Kinesiology with a Concentration in Coaching from Georgia Southern in May of 2005.
