STATESBORO– Georgia Southern volleyball (2-0) stormed through UNCG (0-3) in the finale of the Bash in the Boro tournament, running away with sets 1 and 3, winning 3-0 (25-13, 25-23, 25-9).
"We talked about it going in that we thought we were the better team," head coach Chad Willis said. "I think we did a good job of setting the tone in set one, and while there was a lull in set two, we challenged ourselves to be a little more physical around the net in the third set and I think we did that.
