STATESBORO – Volleyball coach Chad Willis announced today that Callaway Cason (Villa Rica, Ga./The Walker School/Ole Miss) will transfer to Georgia Southern and play for the Eagles, beginning in the 2022 season.

Played in 15 matches in two seasons at Ole Miss • Helped guide the Wolverines to a regional championship, state runners-up, and two Final Four appearances during her career at The Walker School, earning MVP in final three seasons • Earned Special Mention All-American Honors from PrepVolleyball during her senior season • Finalist for the Andi Collins Award, given annually to the nation's best high school setter • All-Area 6A Player of the Year • Three-time all-state and also earned all-county plaudits • Finished career with 4,000 assists, the third-most all-time in Georgia state high school history, and her 9.
