UTEP running back commits to Georgia Southern

Former University of Texas-El Paso running back Josh Fields has transferred to Georgia Southern for his third year of NCAA football, as first reported by KTSM in El Paso and confirmed by multiple sources.

The news broke Tuesday with Fields’ high school coach Patrick Melton telling KTSM’s Andy Morgan of Fields’ intentions.

On Wednesday, GS head coach Chad Lunsford tweeted his typical tweet that he sends after getting a commit.
