STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Director of Athletics Tom Kleinlein announced Tuesday the addition of a pair of home-and-homes to the Eagles' future football schedule as Ball State University and UAB have both agreed to contracts with Georgia Southern for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
The Eagles will host Ball State on Sept. 24, 2022 before playing in Muncie, Indiana, on Sept. 23, 2023. Georgia Southern will play in Birmingham at UAB on Sept. 17, 2022 and the Blazers will return the home game on Sept. 9, 2023.
The Eagles have never met UAB or Ball State in football.
