STATESBORO, Ga. - Two long-time Georgia Southern head coaches - Nathan Kellogg of the swimming team and Kevin Kennedy of the men's soccer team - have resigned their posts within the athletic department to pursue other avenues, as announced Thursday by director of athletics Tom Kleinlein.
"We appreciate all of the time and effort that both Nate Kellogg and Kevin Kennedy put into making Georgia Southern Athletics better and thank them for all they did," Kleinlein said. "We wish them the best of luck as they pursue other opportunities. A national search is already underway for the new leader of our swimming program and a national search will begin immediately for our men's soccer program.
