Two Former Eagle Players Make AAF Rosters

STATESBORO - Two former Georgia Southern University football players have earned spots on opening day rosters of The Alliance of American Football league, as it kicks off its inaugural season in February. All eight teams were required to reduce set their final 52-player roster for the season by Wednesday.

Kicker Younghoe Koo and receiver Montay Crockett both made the Atlanta Legends roster and will play for Kevin Coyle's squad.

Crockett, who will wear No. 13, had 24 catches for 339 yards and a touchdown as a senior at GS. The Rock Hill, South Carolina, native participated in NFL training camps with Green Bay and Jacksonville and was on the active roster for the Jaguars late in the 2018 season, but didn't appear in any regular season games.
