STATESBORO, GA. - Landon Hughes and Jordan Wren heard their names called on Day Two of the 2017 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft. Hughes was picked in the seventh round by his hometown Atlanta Braves while Wren was selected by the Boston Red Sox for the second-straight year. The final day of the 2017 MLB Draft starts on Wednesday at Noon.
2017 marks the sixth time in Georgia Southern Baseball history that two Eagles have been selected in the first 10 rounds and the first time since 2012.
