Georgia Southern men’s basketball guard Tookie Brown was invited to play in the 2019 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, announced Monday.
The P.I.T. is an annual tournament where 64 of the top senior collegiate men’s basketball players are selected to play in a 4-day tournament, performing in from of all NBA teams, coaches. The tournament consists of 12 games played from this Wednesday through Saturday.
“It is a big honor to be invited to the Portsmouth invitational,” Head Coach Mark Byington said. “It’s the first step in Tookie’s professional career and I know he will do great.”
Brown made milestones during his time of eligibility at GS, logging over 2,000 career points and 500 assists.
