Three Eagles Selected on Day Three of MLB Draft

STATESBORO, GA. - Georgia Southern Baseball had three more student-athletes selected on Wednesday in the final day of the Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft. Connor Simmons, Logan Baldwin, and Jacob Condra-Bogan each had their names called as the Eagles recorded a draft class for the ages.

Wednesday's three selections joined Landon Hughes and Jordan Wren in tying the largest draft class in Georgia Southern Baseball history. The 1996 Eagles saw Tommy Peterman (11th round), Julio Ayala (11th round), Mark Hamlin (24th round), Steven Wilson (27th round) and Jon Phillips (40th round) earn selections.
