STATESBORO - Three Georgia Southern baseball players were named to the Statesboro Regional All-Tournament team after the conclusion of the Statesboro Regional on Sunday, June 5. The players named were LHP Ty Fisher, DH Noah Ledford, and CF Sam Blancato.
LHP Ty Fisher was named to the All-Tournament team after pitching the first complete game for Georgia Southern since Seth Shuman pitched one against UT-Arlington in 2018. Fisher also kept the UNCG offense from scoring a run, earning a shutout victory for the Eagles. Fisher struckout six batters and only allowed four walks, only allowing batters to hit .
