SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Georgia Southern women's cross country team closed out its regular season at the Upstate XC Invite on Saturday, placing ninth out of 23 teams.
Though the finish wasn't an improvement from their first trip to Upstate earlier this season, the meet offered another chance for the squad to measure progress and fine-tune before conference competition.
Elizabeth Stamey once again paced the Eagles, clocking an 18:50.3 to finish 41st overall. Lauren Voutour followed close behind in 54th at 18:58.7, while Hannah Douglas (19:16.9) and Julia Wilson (19:18.
