The Eagles Sweep Jacksonville State 7-0 on Saturday

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- The Georgia Southern women's tennis team swept Jacksonville State on Saturday 7-0 and advanced their spring record to 4-1.

The Eagles, who are on a three-match winning streak, dominated the Gamecocks in singles and lost just one match in doubles. The No.1 pair, Mariana Ranzahuer and Lindsay Truscott, beat Olivia Nguyen and Genevie Ulanday 6-4. Giulia Riepe and Paige Christian had similar luck at line three, chalking up a 6-2 win.

"I'm very happy with how everyone came into the match believing in each other especially in doubles and showing off the hard work we've been doing these past weeks," line two junior Mariana Ranzahuer said.
