STATESBORO, Ga. – Kelsey Weynand tallied 15 kills, eight digs and a block to lead Texas State to a 3-0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-18) Sun Belt volleyball victory over Georgia Southern Saturday night in Hanner Fieldhouse.
Cathrine Murray posted nine kills and two digs for Georgia Southern (11-12, 4-4), and Stephanie Spencer collected eight kills and four digs. Alex Beecher finished with 20 digs.
Megan Porter and Jaliyah Bolden each notched 10 kills for Texas State (15-9, 8-1), which won its sixth straight match. Lauren Kirch added eight kills and three blocks, and Micah Dinwiddie had a match-high 23 digs.
