STATESBORO - Georgia Southern women's basketball sophomore Terren Ward has earned a spot on the 2021-22 Sun Belt Conference's Preseason All-Conference squad, announced today by league officials.
Ward earns a spot on the league's third team after earning 2020-21 SBC Freshman of the Year honors a season ago. The Jesup, Ga., native averaged 7.9 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in becoming only the third Georgia Southern women's basketball player to earn league Freshman of the Year honors. Ward was the Sun Belt Player of the Week on February 8 for averaging 18.
