STATESBORO, Ga. – Day one of the 2018 Sun Belt Outdoor Conference Championships concluded Friday evening with the Eagles setting themselves up for prime scoring opportunities Saturday. Events will begin at 9:00 AM EST and continue throughout the entire day with the 3000 Meter Steeplechase concluding the evening at 8:55 PM.
The Eagles began the 2018 Outdoor Championships in the Hammer Throw event. Aundria Douglas posted a 42.15m throw in the event on her second of three attempts. The score was able to secure a top-20 finish for the Eagles and give the Blue and White some momentum heading into the second half of the day.
