NEW ORLEANS — Georgia Southern had a 167 student-athletes honored by the Sun Belt Conference for their work in the classroom with the yearly release of the Academic Commissioner's List and Honor Roll today by the league.
The 167 total student-athletes includes 109 named to the Commissioner's List and 58 to the Honor Roll.
Women's soccer had largest number of Eagle student-athletes on the SBC Commissioner's List with 23, followed next by football with 16. Baseball had the most student-athletes on the SBC Honor Roll with 15, while football had the most overall honorees with 30, followed by baseball with 28.
