NEW ORLEANS – Scovia Ayikoru, Megan Bolton, Sofia Molina, Imani Moore, Devine Parker and NaJ Watson have been named Indoor All-Sun Belt, the league announced today.
Ayikoru earned first-team honors after medaling in all four events she competed in at the Sun Belt Indoor Championship. She set a meet and school record with a time of 53.17 in the 400 to win the event, and the fifth-year senior set a meet and school record in the 200 (23.37) prelims before finishing second. She took third in the 60-meter dash and ran the first leg of the first-place 4x400 relay, and her times in the 200 and 400 are also Uganda national indoor records.
