This week Shai Werts’ family suffered from a tragic house fire where they lost most of their possessions.
Werts is a now a redshirt sophomore and holds the position of quarterback on the football team for the Eagles. The QB from Clinton, South Carolina played in and started 11 games for the 2017-18 season and has been a growing asset for the football team as a whole.
