STATESBORO - Georgia Southern Athletics and Student-Athlete Services hosted Monday night the Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet at the Nessmith-Lane Conference Center. The banquet honored the Eagle Honor Roll and Scholar-Athletes of the Year. One hundred and twenty-seven student-athletes qualified for the Honor Roll, and one male and one female were selected as the Scholar-Athletes of the Year.
The male nominees for Scholar-Athlete of the Year were: , Golf; , Basketball; , Soccer; , Football; , Baseball; and , Tennis. The female nominees were: , Basketball; , Swimming & Diving; , Track & Field; , Tennis; , Soccer; , Volleyball; , Golf; , Rifle; and , Softball.
