Redshirt-junior captain Rashad Byrd is a name that has become a big one for the Eagles, as the linebacker leads the defense with 31 tackles on the season. Byrd played a huge role in the defense specifically against Minnesota, where he logged 11 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery which he returned for 44 yards to score a touchdown.
