STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern men's soccer team will take on the UNC Asheville Bulldogs on Sunday, August 28, at Greenwood Soccer Field in Asheville, NC. Kickoff for the match is set for 2 p.m.
The Eagles (0-1-0) and the Bulldogs (0-1-0) both come into the match with a loss each, after Georgia Southern fell to Presbyterian 1-0 on the road, and UNC Asheville fell to UNC Greensboro on the road, 5-1.
This is the first meeting since 2014 between the two programs, a match that the Eagles won 3-0. Sunday's match will be the eighth overall matchup between the two.
