STATESBORO — The Georgia Southern football team continued the annual tradition of Eagle Creek Baptism at the conclusion on Friday’s practice.
The fifteen seniors, along with Head Coach Chad Lunsford and President Kyle Marrero, dipped into Beautiful Eagle Creek before reporting to their duties to assist Operation Move In.
Marrero emphasized the impact of Eagle Creek after he willingly plunged into the water with his favorite suit and tie. He believes his attire can be attributed to much of his career success, since he wore the exact same suit when he interviewed for his previous gig at West Georgia.
