SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Brandin Podziemski posted 34 points and 11 rebounds to guide Santa Clara to a 78-62 men's basketball victory over Georgia Southern Thursday night in the Leavey Center.
Podziemski, a transfer from Illinois, followed up a 30-point performance in the Broncos' season opener Monday with a 10 for 16 shooting performance, including 6 of 8 from long distance and 8 for 8 from the free-throw line, and netted 25 in the first half.

Kaden Archie made 7 of 11 from the floor and scored 19 points to lead the Eagles, while Jalen Finch tallied 15 points six rebounds, six assists and four steals.
