Statesboro, Ga. --- The Georgia Southern men's soccer team defeated Jacksonville 2-1 on Monday night (September 15th) to increase their win streak to now four matches.
The Eagles were the ones to control possession early on in the match, as the Dolphins would only put up ine shot in the opening 15 minutes. Just after the 16 minute mark, the Eagles would set up for one of their eight corner kicks on the night. A lovely ball sent in by Pablo Portero allowed for Toby Nevile to rise up and flick in a shot off his head into the net for Southern to take the lead.
