Panthers Late Goal Clips Eagles in Season Finale

PANTHERSVILLE, Ga. – Max Wilkins scored the game winning goal in the 104th minute to lift the Panthers over the Eagles on Thursday afternoon to send Georgia State to the Mid-American Conference Tournament.

The Panthers improve to 11-5-0 and 3-3-0 in the MAC, while Georgia Southern falls to 4-12-1 and 0-5-1 in the MAC. Georgia State opened the scoring in the 69th minute, when Ramon Munoz beat Jokull Blaengsson to lead 1-0.

In the 75th minute, Samuel Odame would be on the receiving end of an Adam Davie assist to tie the match on Odame's second goal of the season.
