STATESBORO - College Sports Communicators, formerly CoSIDA, has revealed that Austin Hardy and Jona Kafka were both named to the Academic All-District team, announced by the organization on Tuesday. Eligble student-athletes must have competed in at least 50% of games played in the previous season, must have held a 3.5 GPA or higher, and have been with their program for at least one year.
Austin Hardy, a sophomore from Huntersville, N.C., earned the award with a 3.76 GPA and having competed in 11 matches for the Eagles this season. Hardy is an exercise science major who was named to the Georgia Southern Dean's List for the 2021-22 school year.
