STATESBORO - Georgia Southern running running back OJ Arnold was honored by the Sun Belt Monday for his play against Coastal Carolina, earning conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Arnold made history as he became the first Eagle to card a rushing, receiving and passing touchdown in the same game, as he rushed for 267 yards and two scores on 21 carries (12.7 ypc) as Georgia Southern downed Coastal Carolina 45-40 at home. He also caught four passes for 53 yards and a touchdown and threw a 73-yard touchdown strike to Brown.
