KENNESAW, Ga. – Ella Ofstedahl fired a 73 in the final round of the Hennsler Intercollegiate Tuesday and tied for eighth, and the Georgia Southern women's golf team placed ninth in the event at Pinetree Country Club.
Ofstedahl (+5) finished a stroke behind Julia Johnson of Ole Miss in seventh and two shots behind a tie for fifth. It was the sophomore's second top-10 and fourth top-20 finish of the season.
Nineteenth-ranked Kent State won the tournament, and Ole Miss finished second. Host Kennesaw State placed third, followed by Augusta and Coastal Carolina.
