No. 6 Eagles Fall to No. 8 Mountaineers, 2-0

Morgantown, W.V. --- The No. 6 Georgia Southern men's soccer team (8-1-1, 2-1 SBC) fell to the No. 8 Mountaineers of West Virginia (7-1-2, 3-0 SBC) by a 2-0 margin on Saturday night (October 4th).

Both offenses came out firing to start the contest, including a fifth minute shot from Mitch Picksley that hit off the side woodwork for the Eagles' first chance of the contest. Just under 20 minutes later, a foul on Finn Steele in the box would be reviewed and awarded a penalty kick for West Virginia, in which they would convert on to take the lead.
