STATESBORO - Georgia Southern Head Men's Soccer Coach John Murphy has rounded out his coaching staff for the upcoming 2020 season with the addition of two new coaches for the Eagles. Matt Evans will be joining the staff as an Assistant Coach, while Joe Moulden will be a Volunteer Assistant Coach.
Evans joins the Eagles from Appalachian State, where he was on the staff of the Mountaineers from March, 2019, until the school announced it would discontinue the sport in Spring of this year. In his one season with the Mountaineers, Appalachian State collected 11 wins - the most since 2002 - and also recorded eight shutouts.
