HOFFENHEIM, GERMANY - Georgia Southern wrapped up its 2017 German Tour with a 5-1 win over Bammental FC. With the win, Georgia Southern improves to 2-1 on the trip as the team returns stateside to close out the spring semester.
Bammental took an early 1-0 lead in the 10th minute, scoring off a corner kick. The in-swinging delivery found the head of an attacker who got free from his marker to score the opening goal.
The line didn't stay there for long as Georgia Southern took the ball straight down the field and equalized with some nice combination play.
