BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Steven Fisk and Archer Price each shot 71, and the Georgia Southern men's golf team fired the third-lowest score of the day to move up another spot and finish fifth at the Shoal Creek Invitational Tuesday at Shoal Creek Country Club.
Fisk (-4) finished sixth, one stroke behind Cameron Young (-5) of Wake Forest in fifth, and five away from Demon Deacon Braden Thornberry (-9), who won medalist honors. Price (-1) finished in a three-way tie for 11th.
Wake Forest (-15) pulled away with a 6-under 282 team score and topped second-place Liberty (-2) by 13 strokes.
