Men's golf receives bid to compete in NCAA Golf Championship

The Georgia Southern men’s golf team earned a bid to compete in the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship, announced on the Golf Channel Wednesday night.

The Eagles will travel to play in the Stanford Regional, competing against 12 other teams and 10 individuals at Stanford Golf Course. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each of the six total regional tournaments will advance to the finals.

This will be the Eagle’s 25th appearance in the NCAA Championships in program history.

“I couldn’t be more proud of this team for accomplishing a big goal of ours,” said Head Coach Carter Collins in a press release.
