EL DORADO, Ark. – Ben Carr was one of five players to shoot par or better, and the Georgia Southern men's golf team has a two-stroke lead over ULM after the first round of the Sun Belt Championship Sunday at Mystic Creek Golf Club.
Little Rock (+10) is third, Arkansas State (+14) is fourth and Appalachian State and UTA (+17) are tied for fifth. The top four teams advance to match play Wednesday.
Carr is tied for third and one of four Eagles in the top-15. Brett Barron (+1) and Mason Williams are tied for sixth, and Luke Dasher (+3) is tied for 13th.
