GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Mason Williams shot a 66, and Wilson Andress fired a 69 to lead the Georgia Southern men's golf team into third place after the first round of the Vystar Credit Union Gators Invitational Saturday at Mark Bostick Golf Course.
Play was suspended due to inclement weather in the area in the evening, and the Eagles have about three holes left in the second round.
Eighth-ranked Florida (-9) was tied with Liberty atop the leaderboard after one round of play. Georgia Southern (-3) was third, and Penn State (-2) was fourth.
