For the second-straight season, Georgia Southern surpassed the predictions of the Sun Belt's preseason prognosticators. Picked 10th in the conference with the youngest roster in the country, the Eagles finished fifth and advanced to the league tournament for the second consecutive year. Georgia Southern won nine of 15 after starting conference play 1-4. Below is a look back at the 2015-16 season.
Postseason Honors
Tookie Brown was named Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and first-team all-league, and Mike Hughes earned third-team All-Sun Belt Honors. The duo were selected in a vote by the league's head coaches and a panel of media members.
