STATESBORO – Hosting Ball State in the season opener, games at in-state opponents Georgia Tech and Mercer and a trip to New York just before Christmas highlight the non-conference men's basketball schedule, announced by head coach Brian Burg today.
The Eagles will open the campaign by hosting Ball State Nov. 9 in Hanner Fieldhouse in the fourth meeting between the schools and first since 1975.
After traveling to South Florida Nov. 13, Georgia Southern plays two contests in a multi-team event at Wofford. The Eagles face Hampton Nov. 20, and meet the Terriers, a former Southern Conference foe, Nov.
