STATESBORO, Ga. – A mandatory information meeting for Georgia Southern students interested in participating in the Edwin Jackson Memorial Walk-On Tryouts in hopes of making it onto the Eagle football team is set for Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. in the Ted Smith Family Football Center, located at 205 Lanier Drive. Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 17 in Allen E. Paulson Stadium for those who attended the meeting after the squad's practice has ended.
To be eligible to begin the process, a candidate must be enrolled at Georgia Southern this spring, taking at least 12 hours.
