STATESBORO - Georgia Southern fifth-year senior Logan Langemeier has been named to the 2022 Football Academic All-District Team, as announced by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) this afternoon.
Langemeier has earned two degrees already, one in accounting and one in finance, and is slated to earn his Master's degree in the spring. He is using his COVID-19 season granted by the NCAA to return for a fifth year of eligibility.
Langemeier took an odd path to Statesboro from his hometown in North Lake Tahoe, California. He signed with Jacksonville University and played two seasons with the Dolphins and then the program was discontinued following the 2019 season.
