STATESBORO - Senior Andy Kwon of the Georgia Southern football squad was named Tuesday to the spring watch list for the Rimington Trophy, given annually to the nation's top center in Division I football. He's one of 57 players on this year's list of candidates.
In order to create this list, the committee accepted nominations from programs across the country that submitted their current starting centers for consideration.
Last year, Kwon was a key cog in the nation's leading rushing offense as four Eagles rushed for 600 or more yards for the season.
