STATESBORO - Senior placekicker Younghoe Koo has been named the Sun Belt Conference's Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance at New Mexico State, as announced Monday morning. Koo connected all on all three field goals as the Eagles beat the Aggies 22-19. The senior has now made all 13 field goals this season, setting a new school record for consecutive field goals made in a season. Koo hit field goals of 25, 22 and 29 yards as the Eagles won by three points.
Koo's 13 straight makes set a new school record for consecutive field goals made in a season, breaking Tim Foley's streak of 12 set in 1985.
